If you sit at the dinner table with my immediate family you'll quickly notice how important classic cars are to us. We talk horsepower, automotive horror stories, and future projects every night. Once dinner is over we play bluff each other into buying jalopies during a strategy game called "Dealer's Choice." One of my earliest memories to date involves cruising in the back seat of my Dad's '68 Chevelle wagon with a canoe strapped to the roof. Working on, driving in, photographing and respecting cars is the foundation of who I am. I've helped my Dad and brother work on well over 20 different American cars, bled my own breaks, swapped engines on weekends, drag raced at Dragway 42, and slept in the back of a '72 Camaro plenty. I'm not afraid to get dirty - in fact - I enjoy it. Speed is my drug and LA traffic doesn't scare me one bit. Some days I miss flying around turns in the woods of the Midwest, but then I jump on the PCH for a cruise up the coast and I remember where I am. I grew-up in the cornfields, 45 minutes south of Cleveland; cruising Woodward Avenue has been the pinnacle of my summers for the past 10 years. I'm a Rustbelt kid at heart and it's been my dream to live in a big city while owning a '67 Camaro. I may not have that exact life, but I'm pretty darn close to it. I currently live in LA, work for 4 classic muscle car magazines, and I'm on my way to having that first-gen Fbody!
